its 11 11 11 zomg! black pumps newlook review!

So since today is 11 11 11 I must! Repeat, MUST post something! Also I’m trying out the wordpress phone app for blogging and I just figured out how to insert photos.

What I wanted to talk about are black flat ballerina pumps, I’ve owned at least 10 pairs previously so I can call myself somewhat an expert on the subject!

The pair I owned the longest was a pair from top shop costing a wooping $70 on discount, but the soles weren’t big enough and the sides grew holes from a lot of wearing after awhile, and so I threw them away.
Since then all my black pumps have lasted no more than 3 months before giving way.

I bought two pairs from newlook awhile back (it was a buy 1 get the 2nd one for $2 sale for their 2nd anniversary) and so far they are holding up super well. I wear my pumps to club and all girls can vouch that that’s where your shoes will show you what they’re made of.
Thus far, they don’t look worn as of yet (see picture for proof) and are not ripping or developing holes or flaking off. Which is amazing.

In conclusion, I recommend buying newlook pumps as a warddrobe black pumps basic (:

Cause every girl needs a pair of shoes to go with everything.

Tell me your thoughts, ponders and experiences below!

Recently, I ordered and received these gorgeous shoes in the mail! For a while I thought these got lost because they took much longer than normal to arrive, but it was the Presidential Election/Hari Raya weekend so I guess the post office sorting centre took a few days off.

I got these heels because I wanted them to technically replace my awesome Aldo Destiny heels in Camel. Replace them because the Aldo ones are a little too expensive for me to want to scuff them, actually that’s not the whole truth, I mean, shoes are meant to be worn right? I’m not fussy like that, but in all honest truth, the Aldo ones are a little too loose and a little too tall to walk in, so as much as I love them, I had to put them on reserve for those few and far, seated occasions only.

First, you’ll notice the difference in colour which is a bummer because the ALDOs are about my skin tone, which gives me that elongated “nude-no shoes look”.

Next, you’ll notice the difference in the heights. Which is a good thing in this case because I wanted them a little shorter.

So I guess these aren’t exact replacements, but they’ll do.

Much Love,
Karen.
